@ESRAC.ART Shipping Policy
Note: This Policy provides detailed information on the logistics of acquiring artworks at @ESRAC.ART. Our team is available to assist you via email, WhatsApp, or phone.
1. Shipment Origin
All artworks are professionally handled and dispatched from our secure partner facility at the FedEx Ship Center in São Paulo, Brazil.
- Address: Rua Marina Ciufulli Zanfelice, nº 291, São Paulo, SP, 05040-000.
2. Shipping Costs and Management
- Responsibility: Shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility and are added to the final artwork price (Auction or Direct Sale).
- Quoting Process: For your security, @ESRAC.ART manages the logistics. We obtain a precise FedEx quote based on dimensions, weight, and destination. This quote is sent via email for your approval before the final invoice is issued.
3. Shipment Options
- Platform-Managed Shipment: Once the quote is approved and paid, @ESRAC.ART handles all booking and handover protocols with FedEx. This ensures a strict “segregation of duties” and professional oversight.
- Local Pickup (São Paulo): Buyers may arrange for a personal pickup or a third-party collection at our São Paulo office. Pickups must be scheduled in advance and only after full payment is confirmed.
4. International Trade, Taxes, and Insurance
- Import Duties & Taxes: Buyers are the “importers of record.” Sales taxes, customs duties, and any local fees at the destination country are the sole responsibility of the buyer. We recommend checking local regulations before purchasing.
- Insurance: Given the nature of fine art, insurance is mandatory. The artwork’s value, as stated on the invoice (Market Quote), will be declared to FedEx for full insurance coverage during transit.
- Customs Documentation: @ESRAC.ART provides all necessary documentation to facilitate customs clearance, but is not responsible for delays caused by local customs authorities.
5. Tracking and Delivery
Upon dispatch, @ESRAC.ART will provide a FedEx Tracking Number. It is the buyer’s responsibility to monitor the progress and ensure a representative is available to receive and sign for the artwork.
6. Documentation Provided
The following documents are issued and sent digitally (PDF) to the buyer:
- Brazilian Invoice (Nota Fiscal): Issued by César Ramos & Cia Ltda (São Paulo City), detailing the transaction.
- Certificate of Authenticity and Ownership (CoA): Digitally signed by the artist via Gov.br (Brazilian Government digital signature) to ensure legal validity and provenance.
7. Transfer of Responsibility
In accordance with international commercial standards, the responsibility for the artwork transfers to the buyer the moment @ESRAC.ART delivers the properly packaged artwork to FedEx in São Paulo. Any claims for transit damage must be initiated with the carrier under the provided insurance policy.
8. Final Provisions
This policy is a part of the @ESRAC.ART Terms and Conditions. By completing a purchase, the buyer signifies full acceptance of these logistics terms.
