Shipping Policy

Esrac.Art Shipping Policy

Note: This Policy is designed to offer you information on how to buy at auction at Esrac.Art. Our team will be happy to assist you, if needed by email, whatsapp or phone.

1. Shipment Origin

All artworks (paintings) are shipped from our secure partner facility at the FedEx Ship Center in São Paulo, Brazil.
Address: Rua Marina Ciufulli Zanfelice, nº 291, São Paulo, São Paulo, 05040-000.

2. Shipping Costs and Management

Shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility and are included in the total payment amount for the artwork, as detailed in our Auction Policy and Buyer’s Guide (FAQ).

Esrac.art Management: For your convenience and security, Esrac.art manages the shipping process. We will obtain a FedEx shipment quote for your approved artwork (based on its size, weight, and destination). This quote will be communicated to you via email for your approval before the final auction price is confirmed and the total payment requested.

3. Shipment Options (Only After Quote Approval)

Esrac.art Arranged Shipment: Once you approve the FedEx shipping quote, Esrac.art will handle the booking and management of the shipping service with FedEx directly. This ensures proper handling and adherence to our segregation of duties protocol for your security.

Buyer-Arranged Pickup (São Paulo, Brazil): Alternatively, you may choose to arrange for your purchased artwork to be collected directly from our office in São Paulo (Brazil) by yourself or a person/company of your choosing. Please contact us to schedule a pickup after full payment for the artwork has been received.

4. Important Notes for Buyers

  • Importation Taxes: Art buyers must be aware that sales taxes and import duties may apply to their purchases depending on the destination’s location. It’s essential to check local laws to understand the full tax liability when purchasing and importing artworks. Esrac.art is not responsible for any import taxes, duties, or charges.
  • Insurance & Declared Value: Insurance is a critical consideration when shipping valuable artworks, especially internationally. Adequate insurance coverage can provide financial protection in case of unforeseen accidents or damage during transit. The artwork’s value, as indicated on your invoice, will be declared to FedEx for insurance purposes.

5. Tracking Your Shipment

Once your artwork is dispatched by Esrac.art, you’ll receive a tracking number from FedEx. You can use this number to monitor the shipment’s progress and estimated delivery date. It’s essential to check tracking information regularly to stay updated on your shipment’s status.

6. Documents Included with Your Artwork

The following digital documents will be sent to the buyer with the artwork (painting):

  • Digital Brazilian Invoice (PDF), issued by the City of São Paulo. This invoice will mention any non-recoverable tax amounts.
  • Digital Certificate of Authenticity and Ownership (PDF), signed by the artist with Gov.br.

7. Transfer of Responsibility

Responsibility for the artwork transfers to the buyer the moment Esrac.art delivers the properly packaged artwork to FedEx in São Paulo, under the shipping service agreed upon.
