Esrac.art Payment Policy
1. Accepted Currencies
At Esrac.art, you can make payments for your purchases in either United States Dollars (USD) or Brazilian Reals (BRL).
2. Payment Options
We offer flexibility so you can choose the best payment method for you:
- Payment in Brazilian Reals (BRL):
- For payments in BRL, the artwork’s USD value will be converted to Brazilian Reals based on the exchange rate from the previous business day, specifically the official PTAX quotation of the Central Bank of Brazil.
- Available payment methods for BRL include wire transfer, PIX, and Paypal.
- Payment in United States Dollars (USD):
- You can choose to pay directly in United States Dollars.
- Available payment methods for USD include wire transfer and Paypal.
Please Note: International transactions may be subject to currency conversion fees, transaction fees, or taxes charged by your bank or financial institution. Please check with your bank about any additional costs before making your payment.
3. Understanding Your Total Payment and Split Instructions
Total Payment Due: Your total payment will cover the final auction price of the artwork plus the final shipping cost from Esrac.art’s facilities to your address. Split Payment Instruction: To ensure transparency and facilitate the transaction, this total payment amount will be split and directed to two separate accounts:
- One portion directly to Esrac.art. This covers Esrac.art’s commission, the Artist’s initial advance reimbursement, and all shipping costs (initial from the artist to Esrac.art, and the final shipping cost).
- The remaining balance directly to the Artist. This portion represents the Artist’s net proceeds from the artwork’s sale. Detailed instructions, including the exact amounts and the bank account information for each respective payment, will be provided in your winner notification email.
4. Payment Confirmation and Artwork Shipment
Artwork shipment is contingent upon the confirmation of full payment for both the artwork’s value and shipping costs (freight), across both payment portions. We will not ship the artwork before confirming receipt of the total amount due. The shipping timeframe will only begin once both payments have cleared. For international payments made via bank transfer, the clearing process may take a few business days.
5. Taxes and Additional Charges
Prices displayed on Esrac.art do not include import taxes, customs duties, or other levies that may apply in your destination country. As per our Shipping Policy, the buyer is solely responsible for paying any import taxes, duties, or charges applicable to their purchase.
6. Payment Security
Esrac.art uses secure payment processors and data encryption to protect your financial information during all transactions.
