Esrac.Art Return Policy

Note: This Policy is designed to offer you information on how to buy at auction at Esrac.Art. Our team will be happy to assist you, if needed by email, whatsapp or phone.

Full Refund (100%)

You can return an artwork purchased through Esrac.art for a full 100% refund if the item you received is substantially different from its listing, or is found to be inauthentic.

To qualify for a full refund, you must:

  1. Notify Esrac.art of your intention to return the item as “not as described” within seven (7) days of receiving the artwork.
  2. Return the artwork within this same 7-day period.

“Not as described” refers to: inauthentic artwork, a size variation of more than 5%, or different material than listed.

This right of return applies only to the original purchaser and isn’t transferable. In that case, we will cancel our invoice as soon as we receive your notification and will refund 100% of the purchasing price (excluding shipping costs).

Partial Refund (20%)

If you change your mind after receiving an original artwork, you have 14 days from the date you received it (limited to 18 days after invoicing) to notify Esrac.art.

A partial refund will be issued to your original payment method, with a 20% deduction calculated on the total purchase amount. This deduction covers processing and handling fees. The partial refund will be processed once Esrac.art receives the artwork and confirms it’s in its original, undamaged condition.

Return Shipping Costs

  • For Full Refunds (Item Not as Described/Inauthentic): Esrac.art will provide you with instructions for returning the artwork, and Esrac.art will cover the return shipping costs.
  • For Partial Refunds (Change of Mind): You are responsible for all return shipping costs, including ensuring the artwork is adequately packaged and insured for transit back to Esrac.art.

Digital Certificate Return and Invalidation

For any return and refund (full or partial), the Digital Certificate of Authenticity and Ownership associated with the transaction, signed with Gov.br, will be automatically invalidated in our records.

To complete the refund process, you must digitally sign the “Certificate Return and Invalidation Term.” This document formalizes your acknowledgment of the annulment of ownership over the artwork and the invalidation of its Digital Certificate of Authenticity and Ownership for that specific transaction.

Any continued possession of the digital certificate file by you after the refund and after signing the Term does not confer any right of ownership or authenticity over the returned artwork.
